Silly Goose

A few stories:

Hannah is such a goof. She does silly things all the time. One day Nic called her a dork... she's been repeating it ever since! "I'm a dork!" as she laughs. I tell her no she's not and Nic just laughs. One day she called me a dork. Great. I had to talk to Nic and Nic talked to her. Nic said to me, "She doesn't understand." I said, "EXACTLY! That's why we have to be careful with what we say. She's going to be calling other people dorks." So if she calls you or your child a dork, know its a term of endearment to her! We'll try to substitute "silly goose" or "goofball" instead.

Often I'll ask Hannah what she wants for dinner and she'll say "Su-bay" or "tynokey." What you don't know what that is?! Yay, we don't either! She's been using made up words that don't mean anything... and she thinks she's so funny. I guess you can now see why Nic was calling her... what he did.

You know how we often say "uh-huh" to mean 'yes' or 'yup.' Hannah has recently dropped the "huh" part. So I'll ask her something and she'll say "uh." You may think she's saying it to mean 'what?', but no, she saying it to mean 'yes.' Oh, brother! I'm trying to get her to now go back to just saying "Yes, mommy!"

Yesterday I got some bread out of the freezer to make grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Before I knew it Hannah was taking bites out of half of the loaf of frozen bread. It was pretty funny.

It seems like it's always the men who teach the kids the words. Just the other day my neighbor was saying how her husband said to their little one "you farted!" and so now their little boy rounds around saying that. She's not a happy mom about that! How funny these little ones. She's cute!

Frozen bread. Mmm.

It was pretty funny the other night when we asked Hannah things and she would say, "huuh" I kept think I needed to repeat myself and that she hadn't heard what I said. The even sillier thing is that you told us all about it before, but I would still catch myself about to repeat something to her.

What fun stories that you have written down. Good job!

funny girl. I thought Subay was maybe Sub-way!? Does she like it there? Olivia thinks it's pretty hilarious to make up words too. I was asking her if she liked some names for the baby, and so then she stared making up names and saying "Like mommy?"

Molly

I also thought subay was Subway and the other one was Hogi Yogi/Teryaki Stick...who knows. She is so cute!

Hope you guys are doing well. How have you been feeling?

Your Hannah is so cute! I remember when Paul taught Nathan to call people "Cookoo". Everytime Nate would say it he would laugh hysterically. I was not impressed! I ended up trying not to react to it, and eventually it died out. Good luck!
P.S. I think the activity went really well yesterday! Great job!

How is your pregnancy going? 45 days to go! It's coming up fast:)

Kids are so funny! Heidi is always cracking me up. (Oh, I didn't know you were an egg! Do you remember that from our quote board? Such a Molly thing to say. I think of that every time I hear that expression. Sorry, random thought!) Hannah is so cute! I can't believe how fast time goes. I don't even think I've seen you since you've been pregnant. We should get together.
