Heirloom

This chair was once my Great Grandma and Grandpa Baird's.I love it.

It has wires holding the seat together after the wood split and boards under the seat to make it sturdy. It's from a time when you would never throw out a chair like this; you would simply make it work.
I love all of the character.
I love the thoughts of where it might have sat and what it might have been used for.
I love the meaning of this chair and I love the old look.
I had it sitting out in a flower bed, but worried about rain and sprinklers ruining it.

So without sanding and trying not to remove anything (including old stain) I went over it with this several times:And now here it is. My heirloom.
