Girls Camp with the Family

Last week was Girls Camp and as you probably know, Bryson won't take a bottle... so that meant he had to come along. Nic was also one of our faithful priesthood leaders as well as our truck and trailer driver (and provider!) We decided we might as well take Hannah along too. We were able to get away with making Girl's Camp a family event since it was ward camp this year and not stake.

We camped at Timberlane, which is between Duchesne and Price, about an hour and 20 minutes away. There was a 5 mile dirt road leading up to camp that the girls got dropped off at to hike into camp. The girls knew the hike was the first day, but they didn't know it was the
very first thing... before they even got there! Nothing like getting that hike over with right at the beginning! No time for them to back out! I was able to feed Bryson then go with the girls on the hike.

Nic (and the kids) helped unload and set up. Hannah had the time of her up at camp. She loved all the "houses" (cabins), the "benches" to sit on (logs) and of course all the girls to play with. We stayed until about 8 o'clock that night. It was really quite cold and we needed to be getting Bryson (and Hannah too) out of the cold and into bed!

Here's some pictures of some of our fun times and cute young women. With another post to come soon with more adventures!

What a fun time! Too bad it wasn't a bit warmer for you.

That is so fun to take the whole family! We are going next weekend! I am still gearing up. My mom is taking my girls.
