Family

New little cousin:
Ryan and Karlie (Nic's step-sister) had their second little girl yesterday. Hannah and I were able to go meet Hannah's new little cousin, Oaklie (spelling?), today. She is adorable, of course. Oaklie is 6 lbs. 6 oz, like Hannah, when she was born. It is amazing to think Hannah was once that size.Hannah wanted to hold the baby and was really careful and soft. She seemed very excited and intrigued by it all (hopefully that continues!) Congrats Ryan, Karlie, and Hallie! We love you!

Memorial Day:

We had a wonderful Memorial Day. The Baird family (Mom's side) always gets together to celebrate and remember. Here's a few of the things we do: talk about a few specific ancestors, each family wears a different color shirt, talk about what accomplishment have happened in the family that year (Dad in Mo Tab, Carter born, Afton starting kindergarten, me pregnant, 2 cousins serving missions, Lisa's call, 3 family members serving in the military!, etc.), we play a game or two, visit, and eat a wonderful lunch! (Thanks Dennis and Chris!)

After a nap, that evening we also got together with Nic's family for dinner. We sure love our families and family get-togethers!
