Bargains. I love sales and I am a coupon clipper! It is so exciting to me to get great stuff without paying loads for it! I'll break down my latest big bargain for you. At Albertsons I bought:
1 Spray N Wash
3 Purex laundry detergents (96 loads)
2 Old Orchard juices
2 Betty Crocker cookie mixes
17 General Mills cereal boxes (12 of those were Kix!)
4 Betty Crocker fruit snack boxes
7 Nature Valley granola bar boxes
14 Yoplait yogurts
4 lbs of fresh strawberries
Can you guess how much I spent?! Well, I saved $100.49 by shopping the sales and promotions, and saved $24.49 in coupons, equaling a total of $124.97 in savings. I bought 51 items. Now can you guess how much I spent? $34.45! Hows that?! Gotta love it!
Flowers. Last week I planted flowers for one of Nic's clients. I took time and energy, but I really enjoy doing it! (Especially when I don't have to pay for the flowers. Too bad they couldn't stay in my own yard!) I planted 14 pots/planters and 6 window baskets. I planted for a client last year, but this year I had to go to the nursery, pick out what flowers to get and the quantities. I've been learning a lot and hope to continue to learn. Here are some of the flowers I did for the client. I also planted our own window baskets and pots on Saturday so I'll post pictures of those in a month or so when the trailing flowers and vines actually start trailing and the flowers start blooming.

I went to Albertsons to get the deals... but I was too late, it was all sold out. I wonder who bought it all... hehe, just kidding. That is a GREAT deal. The flowers already look so fabukous!! You need to help me. You're so good at the flower stuff..
Well... in my own defense there was over a pallet of boxes of Kix when I was there and several pallets of sweet cereals. But they were already out of several other things I wanted (like Cheerios).
