1. Hooks: I love those handy Command hooks. I have them inside my pantry for the fly swatter and one for my aprons. I used them to hang Christmas stocking last year. But two of my favorite uses have been 1) for kitchen towels and 2) for swim suits.
I put some on our kitchen island across from our sink. The oven handle was too far away and too hard for my kids to put back up. We always had drips and towels on the floor! The hooks make it so easy for my kiddos to hang the towels, as well as nice and close to the sink.
I also put some on the bathtub surround to hang wet swim suits. No more suits dripping onto the bathroom floor!
2. Baking Supply Bin: I got a roasting pan from the dollar store and put the ingredients most used for baking in it: baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vegetable oil. Then when I'm baking I just pull the whole thing out and it is all there together! Easy out, easy in!
3. Weekly Clothes Organizer: Hannah and I pick out all the clothes that she is going to wear for a week just once (usually when I'm putting laundry away). It has been FABULOUS! I got one of those hanging closet organizers with 6 large openings, added the days of the week... and voa-law... Hannah knows every morning what to wear right when she wakes up. It has been a huge time and stress saver! So there you have it... a few tips and tricks. Now what are some of your time and stress savers or some of your favorite organizational tips?!

Hey, thanks for sharing. I have been big into organizing lately and trying to organize in a way that stays organized. I noticed your towel hooks and like that, wish I has a spot like you. I also have wanted to do your outfit organizer, but Graysen doesn't have a closet.
I will do your swimsuit hooks next summer for sure. I have one for my loofah and for the kids tub toys bag, why not swimsuits etc! Good idea. I've been wanting to post some of my organization, we'll see if I get to it!
Oh and I love the baking tray idea. I would do that for sure if I had a pantry! Smart one!
Love the swim suit hooks. I saw that it just made sense. Congrats on the clothes organizing. We just get the clothes out the night before while we are making lunches etc. I will have to think of some of the organization tips or tricks that I use to share.
you are so organized and crafty!! Of course you would have great ideas. Hmmm.....one thing I did a few weeks ago was make a binder for each of the girls and their coloring pages. It is full of blank plastic sheet protectors and has their name that we printed (and they colored.)
When they color or draw (and after it's been on the fridge a few days) they decide if they want to throw it away or put it in the binder. I always date pictures when they color it.
Thanks for sharing your cute tips!
love, love all the updates! Those kids are sure cute. miss you guys. Daishan
Natalie,
Great Ideas! Thanks for sharing. I will try and remember some so that I can share.
How do you keep the hanger from tipping forward? We tried that with the boys but it always seemed to fall forward & lose clothes... I did try repositioning, weighing down, etc.
I love command hooks, too- glad someone else finds them as handy as me!
