3 Weeks

Today our little guy is already 3 weeks old! Easton had his doctor's appointment yesterday for his check up and circumcision. He is growing amazingly well... already packing on the pounds (now only if we could get Bryson to do that! He was 24.4 lbs.) Easton is already 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 20 inches. No wonder he is eating so often! Easton has been wanting to eat every 2 hours (or more) at night. It's been a struggle because he'll want to eat for 4 minutes and then go back to sleep, so I'll unbundle him, change his diaper, rub his belly and feet... anything to try to wake him enough to eat longer. We have had 2 nights were he has only woken up twice (Yes, only 2... but hallelujah! It was nice and we hope we get more soon.) He seems to have a lot of gas and reflux pains. (The reflux isn't as bad as Bryson, but probably about the same as when Hannah was an infant.) I'm trying to watch what I eat more carefully, but I still need me some chocolate every now and again! :)

Nic went in for the circumcision yesterday. He got to be the comforter because I knew I'd just cry. I stayed back with Bryson (who was there being seen for something else). Nic said the worst part was the shot for numbing. So far he seems to be doing pretty well, but I can't help but feel for the little guy.

Easton has sure been a joy to have. We love him to pieces and I can't snuggle with him enough... after all, as is obvious, he won't stay little for long!

oh my goodness. I can't believe he is already 3 weeks. I guess our babies will be a month apart again. Your stories of the stores sound exactly like what I picture them to be. I don't think I would have dared go to a store without carts. It is bad enough with 2. Claire loves to run and pull things down too. I hate stores without carts. I don't care if they are screaming in the cart, as long as they are contained, right!? Oh- and I know what you mean about no room for groceries. I suppose you just can't fit 3 and groceries. Looks like you will have to wait to shop when Hannah is at school ;) Not that she has ever been the problem... but at least Bry won't have to "walk" with her. ;) Good Luck!

I can't wait to meet him! Love you sis!

What a stud. I love that pic of him lounging on the couch. Such a handsome little guy. You are amazing- already braving the stores. Don't you just love those kind strangers so willing to help? What a blessing.
