I've been thinking... And I need your help. So here are some random, unconnected questions for you all. What do you think:
1. Hannah had the Swine Flu... Do you know if she can get it again? Also we've obviously all be exposed to it here in our house... Would Bryson (or Nic and I) need to get the vaccine?!
2. I feel like I need to get my YW into the scriptures! I've thought about starting some kind of scripture program at the beginning of the year. I know it needs to be very well organized and fun... so that it works and doesn't fizzle out. HOW? Have you as a leader or a youth done something like this? Help please.
3. So I'm wanting to do a photo wall downstairs. I want all different styles, sizes and colors of frames. Has anyone seen one like this? Could you send pictures or links?! I don't want it to look all out of place or just thrown together. Any suggestions?
Okay, now here is when you leave your comments!

I've always loved the way Pottery Barn uses mass photo frames in their designs. I don't know if this http://www.potterybarn.com/pages/wall_decor.html is what you're looking for, but check it out.
Hey Natalie! I read this post and I just had to comment. I did something on my wall downstairs that I absolutely LOVE! It's pretty much a "picture wall" but instead of using frames I have a HUGE magnet board that covers the entire wall and then I just hang all kinds of pictures on it of fun memories we have had over the years. You are welcome to come over and look at it if you want. Anyway, it may not be what you are looking for but I thought I would share anyway! Ha! Good luck :)
umm - swine flu - I think you guys are good. Scripture reading - I have many ideas. You could read the Book of Mormon in 9 days - make a book mark for them to keep track - 6 pages a day. You could give them all a blue book of mormon and have them read it underlining all references to Christ - yes, most of the book will be underlined. :) Depending on the size of your YW, whichever class reads it together first - the other have to through them a pizza party (if Beehives win, Mia-maids and Laurels have to serve them pizza, pamper them, etc.)
Finally - My aunt has a picture wall in her house - all frames different sizes, shapes, colors (coordinating of course) - but you and her have the same taste - so I am sure what you might have in mind will work out fantastic (sorry I don't have a picture to go with it.)
Lastly - I am sure whatever you do with all 3 situations will turn out great - because YOU are great!!
I read that if you have had the swine flu, you do not need the vaccine BUT that doesn't count for the whole household. There are not any vaccines available right now, either. That's all I know.
Hey Natalie, I hope you guys are all feeling better. I was going to put the same link as Camille did. I did my wall going up my stairs based off one of the pottery barn ones, you are welcome to came and see it any time:)
*K, I'm totally crazy woman and would probably still go and get the shots. Good luck. I think I'm taking my girls tomorrow.
*I don't know about the whole scripture thing. I will keep thinking about it, but that is such a hard one. Once they taste of the goodness of the scriptures they always want more, but to get them going on their own can be kind of hard.
*I love the PB stuff and they always have amazing ideas to display pictures but another place I love is Ikea. They have some really cool ideas as well. At one point they had how to hang pictures. I couldn't find it again but it went though how you should hang your pictures to make it pleasing to the eye, you probably could find it if you played around on the wed-sight for a bit.

I would say just because you have been exposed to the swine flu does not mean you are immune. I would get the shots. I wouldn't think Hannah needed it though. They are all out though- so I suppose it really doesn't matter! As for the scripture thing- maybe just making a personal progress chart and when they get to certain points they get partys/treats. To make them do it daily you could say if they do it EVERY day they get something special at your party. I don't know. They only thing that made me do it every day was in seminary we had to write how many minutes we read every day and every one else could see what you were doing. I felt stupid if I wrote 0- so I would read!! So- I suppose you could try peer pressure too if you wanted!
I have a pic of a frame layout that might spark some ideas for you. I don't know if I have your email, so email me and I will send it to you. bregirl81@gmail.com
From what I know, if you have been exposed to the swine flu, but didn't necessarily get it, you might want to ask your Dr. for Tamiflu. It is an antiviral medication. Since the flu is a virus, antibiotics won't kill it, you need an antiviral. I would say there is always a possibility of getting it again. With the seasonal flu, once you get it doesn't mean you are immune to it. I haven't gotten the vaccine or given it to my kids, but if you decide to get it, DON'T get the flu mist. They do not use a dead form of the virus in the flu mist, I don't think it is a live virus, but probably a weakened form of the it. Anyway, after getting the flu mist, it can still shed for 7-10 days after getting it. Which means, if you sneeze or cough on someone, you could potentially sneeze or cough the virus onto them as if you had the swine flu in the first place. Does that make sense? I hope your little one feels better and that no one else gets it. Just remember good handwashing and don't feel bad if you have to stay home from church or school or anything like that.
Well, you've seen my collage of frames. I want to do more to of different types.
