Roach Family Marathon

No... we didn't run an actual marathon! Nic's brother, Aaron and his family were in town last week and whenever they are here its family time, marathon style. Don't get me wrong... we had loads of fun! We played hard and played lots. It throws the normal schedule off, so by the end of the week, we are all exhausted... but can't wait for the next time!

Saturday morning breakfast. Pecan Belgian Waffles with Buttermilk Syrup... Yummy! It was especially fun to finally meet their little Landon, who is about a month younger than Bryson. What cute boys!We tried to get a picture of the grandkids... all 16 of them! And lots of adults trying to help! Yea... that didn't work! Here's the one picture I got! Sundays are crazy and Bryson had finally fallen asleep, for what we hoped would be a good nap... which would let us get to eat! But no... it was picture time, so we had to wake him up, bummer. Then right when the kids were "settled," Hannah sneezed and had snot running down her face. (Not that you can see her anyway. My kid are in the right hand corner of the couch.) Now that's just the "story" of 2 of the 16... It was a little crazy to say the least! I hope someone got a descent picture. Here's a little video of how it went:

Hannah and Rian Jane
Playing at the park and throwing rocks into the river.Tired kids.Swinging with Grandma. And that's just pictures of a few of the things we did! We had a blast and as we always say (and I'm sure Aaron and Daishan are sick of hearing...), we sure wished they lived close by so we could play all the time!

When my brother Aaron comes to town it is just like this. It is so much fun and we hate to see it end, but it does make for super tired kids!

It is so fun to have family come to town or be the family that comes to town. I agree that by the end of the week everyone is exhausted. Looks like you guys had loads of fun!
