Can you feel it?!

The winds of change have swept in. It is starting to get darker earlier. Our mornings stay cool a bit longer. The windows stay open longer. The winds of change have swept in and there is a new excitement in the the air. The thing is... I'm not sure it's because of "fall" per se. But what fall really means?! FOOTBALL SEASON!

The BYU Cougars had their opening game yesterday! Were you watching?! Wasn't it fun?! Nic and I are so blessed to have season tickets! We go with my in laws, Clyde and Marj. We love going to the games! Nic told Hannah he was going to get her a BYU Cougar shirt earlier this week and the next morning when I got clothes out for Hannah she said, "No, Cougar shirt!" Nic did venture out this week and had to get us all new BYU apparel. (I have a shirt that will fit over my belly, Thanks Nic for thinking of all of us!) And he got us stadium seats for the bleachers this year (yea, I know, we are going all out!...The reason being, I knew my back would really be hurting after sitting there that long. I was so, so grateful for the back support!) After Nic's encouragement, we decided not to take Hannah to this one, which I am also grateful for. She would have wanted to sit with me and would have been wiggly the entire time. But I'm sure she'll be going one of these times.

We look forward to seeing our Cougars all the way to a BCS bowl this year! We hope you'll be watching with us! Gooooo Cougars!

we were really excited about the new football season too. I say "were" because we took Olivia to this last game. It was a DISASTER! I must say Olivia did pretty well, BUT it was SOOOO crammed in our seats and Livie kept kicking the old man in front of us. He wasn't too happy about it. Unfortunately we were hot and there was so many stairs that just to leave and come back was a 20 min hike up and down stairs... It just wasn't as fun as I had imagined. 2 year old wigglers don't do well crammed in a small space surrounded by strangers!! I bet the actual seats will be MUCH better if you take Hannah. Aaah, I think Brett will be attending games alone from now on. Or maybe it will be a date night for us... Did you buy Hannah her own seat too?

Well, I miss the Cougars - But am now also a Bulldog!! Yes, Georgia Bulldogs - ARE CRAZY!!!! RV's start pulling in Friday night to tailgate, they close off exits so people can park on them, every inch of grass on campus holds a tailgate party - People are DRUNK - gross...definitely not a place for me or my kids. They said after the game people were throwing beer bottles to cars passing by. The nice thing about Saturday was during the game, I had the WHOLE town of Athens to myself. Traffic was great, stores were pretty empty...Although the few people in there were looking at me weird (I was not dressed in bulldog apparel - nor wearing the color red! Heaven Forbid!) Needless to say, it was crazy! (Sorry, I should have just made that a post on my blog - I will have to direct people to this comment!) ;) Hope you're feeling well!

Well, first let me clarify... we still sit in the bleachers... the cramped bleachers. We just bought some seats with a back to take with us. And no Hannah doesn't have her own seat, so it would have been even more cramped.

Go Cougars! Hannah is so smart, I love her BYU spirit!

Go Cougs! I'm afraid I'm not a football fan at all, so I didn't watch the game. But I am a BYU fan so am glad they won!
By the way, sorry I missed church on Sunday! We were in Cedar City visiting my sister. I'll give you a call later to see what's going on for this week!
Bah, Hannah just woke up, so my blogging time is done! See ya!
