How many apples are in a seed?

You can count the number of seeds in an apple but you can't count the number of apples in a seed.

On Sunday I taught the Beehive class about "A Woman's Responsibility to Teach." We cut open an apple and counted the seeds inside then talked about how we couldn't count the number of apples one little seed would produce. In our lives we have many opportunites to teach: in our homes, as mothers, to our friends and neighbors, in the work place or school, in our church callings, as missionaries, etc. We may never know the results from the "seeds" we plant, but one little seed can do so much.

Lately I have felt like I have a ba-jillion things going on! My church callings, as YW second counselor and youth conference coordinator, have taken so much time and energy, along with being a mother and trying to keep my house somewhat under control. At the same time I am so grateful for the opportunity to "teach" in all these different aspects. I just hope that some of the seeds that I am planting will take root.

There were several acticles in this months Ensign that caught my attention and benifited me about leadership, balance, and family. This life is full of challenges and opportunites to learn and grow. I hope that I can take advantage of each of these opportunities and somehow not only help myself but my family and those around me.

Woah Nat, that is super cute. Now everyone that reads this is going to want to give this lesson with your cute apple! I love how creative you are.

I have been feeling the same way about doing so many different busy, but good things. It is challenging, but very growing. (If I can use that word that way.) :)

Thanks Ash. I'd better give credit to where I got the great idea.

I love that websit. It helped me when I was a RS teacher and now in YW.

You Allens are so amazing. I'm sure all of those Young Women just love having you in there! And I love good challenges because then it means a good reward too! Good work Natalie, love...Joanna

Hey Nat! This is Amy your cousin! Way cute idea about YW's! I just got put in as 2nd counselor as well and am really excited! It is a little daunting though, things seem to be in poor shape in our current program. We'll have to share ideas. I also have a question about what you guys put in your big beautiful planters in your yard, yours look a lot better than mine. Thanks!

Love ya!
