It is fun to have kids. They make you get out and do things that you wouldn't normally do. They enrich your life and make little things fun and exciting.
9/9/11 Saturday Airport Trip
There is a little airport here in our town. it was having an open house for the public. We went down, had a free breakfast, got to see lots of little airplanes, some fly overs, and a "flour bomb drop" competition.
9/26/11 Private Fire Station Tour:
One of Nic's good friends, Brandon, is a volunteer firefighter. He gave us our own private fire station tour for family night. The kids LOVED it. They were able to climb in and around the firetrucks and try on the fireman gear. It was so fun. Bry is still asking when we are going to go back. (Easton was there... asleep in his car seat.)

It is true about kids stepping us out of our comfort zones. Fun field trips/outings as a family.
