We wanted to invite Hannah's grandparents and told them it would be fun... and entertaining... BUT... don't be expecting any fancy moves and steps! Hannah's been in a "creative" dance class, which is just about moving and jumping! I think it has been a perfect way to introduce children to movement and dance. She's loved going and has really opened up and blossomed compared to the start of the class.
The recital was at The Peteetneet Academy in Payson where both my Grandpa Baird and even my Great-Grandma Baird attended school. Grandma and Grandpa Baird were able to attend with my parents, which was extra special. Grandpa told us stories of how his mother used to ride her horse there, tie it up, wait outside (because the doors were locked), then get in line and march into class when the door was opened.
She did a lot of bouncing, while moving her arms up and down. She even stopped and smiled and waved to me! Unfortunately we couldn't use a flash during the performance... and I don't have a great camera as it is, so I don't have a decent picture. It is time to invest in a video camera too!
her class
I loved watching her and the smile on her face. What a fun little girl. We are proud of you Hannah!

Yea Hannah! So fun. Dad told me about this and it sounded like he really enjoyed it. It does sound like a super great dance/movement class for beginners.
So cute! I'll bet this was so much fun to watch! :)
