Sacred Sunday
What a fabulous Sunday. Nic and I were able to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple dedication yesterday morning, with my brother, sister and their spouses. My wonderful mother offered to watch all the kids while we went... and she was very grateful for my sister, Jenny, and her fiance (yes, fiance!) to offer to help too! It truly was a memorable spiritual experience! I am so grateful for the priceless opportunity to attend and participate in such an occasion.
After the dedication, our little family went to the Provo Temple grounds. It really was breath-taking. We wanted to get a picture of Hannah in front of the temple to frame and hang in her room. (This was something asked of us from our stake president.) The trip was not only successful because of the photo opportunity, but of course, also because of the opportunity it provided to talk to Hannah about the importance of the temple and whose house it is. She also thought it was a successful trip because of the fountain!

Once we were through, we headed about a block up the road to my grandparent's home. We had such a wonderful visit and as always a very memorable one! We just don't stop in often enough! Grandma, of course, fed us! We had a wonderful lunch with them and felt so much love.

What a fun time. Glad you had such a good day with your family.
What a wonderful sunday. I like taking a picture of Hannah for the pic of a temple in her room. In the afternoon session of the dedication we were told to have a picture of the temple in every bedroom in the house.
I guess we were posting about the temple at the same time. We just went in our non-cute clothes, so not the best pictures, we will have to go again in Sunday clothes and do the each kid with a picture of the temple for their room, that is a great idea. Yours turned out great and it sounds like a wonderful Sunday.
P.S. Graysen was looking for the fountain at the temple we went to. For some reason she thought there was supposed to be one and was sad "someone took it".
