My mom only works half days on Tuesdays and so called earlier in the week to invite us to come play with her and my sister and kids. We decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather and met at Nelson's Grove, a park in Orem. It is fabulous there! We played on the swings and slides, fed ducks at the little pond, ate a picnic lunch, etc. Hannah and I got so hot in our long sleeve shirts. It was such a beautiful day. One of the funnest parts of the day came as Hannah, Mom and I were swinging on this big round swing set (like a carousel with swings, but you have to make it go manually). Mom and I were trying to run while still sitting on our swings, but it was pretty hard and we weren't moving much. Mom got her belly on the swing and was still running/pushing with her legs. I stopped running and suddenly, we took off! Mom's legs were dragging and she couldn't get up. We were all laughing hysterically. What a fun day. Thanks Mom!
