"Ride a horse Andie"

My good friend Molly and I have talked about going up to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point with our girls (One of Molly's little girls is named Andie). Ever since then Hannah has been saying, "Ride a horse Andie." We finally made it happen yesterday and had a wonderful time! I didn't know how Hannah would react to the animals. She LOVES them from a distance. In fact while we are driving she is always looking for horses and cows. After she sees them she'll say, "more horses!" (over and over again). I've told her to watch out the window. So now she says "watch window, more horses." Anyway, she always seems to get nervous when the animal is up close. Yesterday she did get nervous when we had a chance to pet a little donkey, but other than that she did great and loved it. Hannah would go right up to the fences to see and talk to the animals. Hannah was able to finally 'ride a horse Andie.' She said she wanted to ride, got on willingly, but didn't smile too much. However when we got off, she kept saying, "Ride horse again!" We all went on a little wagon ride together, where they didn't take our ticket... so Hannah WAS able to ride the horse again. She refused to get on the really big horses, but we did get on a bigger one than the first time. She keeps saying she rode a "big horse" and is so proud of herself. What a wonderful outing. We loved it Molly and Andie. Thank you! We are sure going to miss you when you move!

Sounds like fun! I keep telling Molly I'll take her to the zoo, now I'm just waiting for a day when it isn't a 100 degrees outside!

Hi Natalie! I just saw your post (to your wall on facebook) that listed your blog! What fun pics of Hannah you have. I can't believe she is so big - has she had her 2nd birthday yet? Good to see you on here... (I am posting this from my page, but our family one is cabfamily.blogspot.com. )
