So my sister Lisa is going on a mission! We had a double party last night celebrating Dad's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!) and the opening of the call. Ready?! Drum roll please....Lisa will be serving in Vancouver, Canada, English speaking and leaving July 16th.
We are all extremely excited for her. Lisa will be a fabulous missionary: first and foremost, because she knows the gospel is true and wants to share that truth with others; Lisa is also a great leader, she doesn't fear much and when she does she doesn't let on, she stands up and goes forward; she is great with languages (even though she is going English speaking, this will be a great strength to her) and with people of all different backgrounds and cultures (she will have spent time in China and Africa), she has a very humble heart and makes everyone around her feel comfortable and loved; she's a lot of fun, her companions, investigators, members, and everyone else she comes in contact with will love her.
We sure love you, Lisa, and are very proud of you. Congratulations! You'll be awesome!

Tell Lisa Congrats! We are so excited for her - when I read your blog about Lisa, I called Taylor and told him. It is the same mission as he went too. He was so excited for her! Love reading your blog - it is fun to hear what you are up to. Jenny
